This October we mark a significant achievement – THETI CLUB – The Hellenic Tech Investor Club turned one! 🥳
A year ago, we embarked on an incredible journey with nothing but a vision: to create the first serious angel club in Greece and ignite our country’s tech ecosystem. We had no money, no connections, just sheer determination.
In this past year, starting from scratch, we set out with an ambitious goal: to have a one to one conversation with at least 200 top entrepreneurs and C-level executives in Greece. Trust me, it wasn’t an easy task starting with no network. But the response was overwhelming; many welcomed our initiative and rallied behind us, helping us piece this together. 💪
As a result, our community grew to over 70 high-caliber angel investors 🤵from 9 different countries, with 3 corporate investors and 6 startups funded so far! 🚩
If we could achieve this in just 12 months, starting from scratch, I can’t help but feel incredibly excited about what the next 12, 24, or 36 months will bring!
Our vision is crystal clear: to build one of the most active early-stage investor communities in Europe and spark a revolution in the Greek tech ecosystem by providing funding and expertise to over 100-150 startups in the next decade.
We firmly believe that a thriving Greek economy means high tech across every sector, and we aim to play our part in making that happen. 🇬🇷
